Jumper progress

Progress on the jumper moved quickly, and the front and back were soon ready to be joined. I learned a new stitch from YouTube, which allowed me to join the two panels in the way I wanted. By a pure stroke a luck, a seamstress friend offered me a dressmaker’s dummy she wanted rid of, just as I was looking for how to photograph my new creation.

But I’m not going to show you yet, because it’s not finished, and work on the sleeves has had to make way for a couple of more remunerative projects for a few weeks. I can tell you, though, it does look fabulous (and if you really want to cheat, you can take a look at my twitter feed). In the meantime, for those who want to wait for the reveal, here’s another teaser, showing how the front and back were joined at the shoulder.
